Applications
Forms answered right in the server, rules on who may apply, a review queue with claim, reasons and staging, roles on either decision, and quizzes that score themselves.
Build a form
On the dashboard open Applications and press Create, or run /apps create in Discord for the builder there. Each question has a type:
| Type | What the applicant gets |
|---|---|
| Short answer | One line. |
| Paragraph | A larger box for longer answers. |
| One choice | Radio buttons, pick one (up to 10 choices). |
| Checkboxes | Pick any number of the choices. |
| Number | Has to be a number. |
| Roblox username | Checked against Roblox, and the account ID is saved with it. |
Applicants answer with /apply and the questions open right in the server, five to a page. If an answer is wrong (a number that isn't one, a Roblox name that doesn't exist) the page opens again with their other answers kept. Forms with more than 25 questions, or with very long questions, are answered in DMs one question at a time instead.
Who can apply
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open | Closed forms refuse new applications. |
| Required roles | Applicants need one of these roles. |
| Blocked roles | These roles can't apply. |
| Days in the server | How long someone has to have been in the server. |
| Cooldown | Days before someone may apply again. |
| Case limit | The most moderation cases an applicant may have. Voided cases don't count. |
Someone with an application already waiting can't send another for the same form.
Reviewing
New applications are posted in the review channel with the applicant's answers, when their account was made, when they joined, their moderation cases and their quiz score. Reviewers press Claim so two people don't work on the same one, then Accept or Deny. Both ask for an optional reason, which is sent to the applicant. Save reasons you use often as presets and type the preset's name instead.
Reviewers are the roles you pick for each form; admins can always review. The same queue is on the dashboard under Applications, with the answers and Accept, Deny and Publish.
Staging
Turn on Stage decisions and an accept or deny waits on the application with Publish and Undo. Nothing reaches the applicant and no roles change until someone presses Publish. Use it when a second person signs off.
What a decision does
- Adds and removes the roles you set for accepted, or for denied.
- Sends the applicant a DM with the result, the reason and their score.
- Posts the result in the result channel.
Quizzes
Turn on Score answers and give questions a correct answer and points. One choice, number, short answer and Roblox answers match when they are the same (capitals don't matter); checkboxes match when exactly the right boxes are ticked. Questions without a correct answer aren't scored.
Set Auto accept at and Auto deny under to decide by score without a reviewer; with staging on, the result waits for Publish. Scores go to the applicant with the decision, or as soon as they submit if you choose.
