Docs The CAD

The CAD

A dispatch computer for your ER:LC server, in the browser. Live map, calls, units, records and messages, with nothing to install.

The CAD console: the call queue, live map with a selected call, and the unit board
The console. Calls on the left, the live map with the selected call in the middle, units on the right.

What it does

  • Calls come in by themselves. An in-game 911 call becomes a CAD call with the caller and location filled in.
  • A real map. Every unit, civilian and call on the ER:LC map, live, with turn-by-turn directions to a call.
  • Dispatching in one key. Press D and the right kind of unit, free and nearest, is sent.
  • Units hear about it in-game. Assignments, backup requests, panics and messages reach units as ER:LC private messages.
  • Records that fill themselves in. Every person and vehicle the game sees gets a record. Warrants and BOLOs are flagged on calls and traffic stops.

Opening it

On the dashboard, pick your server and open CAD. Bookmark that page: it is the same address every time. It works on a phone too, with the pages along the bottom.

Want to look first? The live demo is a sample server with 40 made-up players. No sign-in, and nothing you do is saved.
