Who can use each command, who can use the dashboard, and who can do what in the CAD.

Commands

Every command has a default audience, shown on the commands list: Everyone, the session role, moderators or admins. A server admin can change that for any command on the dashboard's Permissions page. Pick the roles that may use it, and everyone else is turned away with a short message.

The dashboard

Anyone with Manage Server or Administrator in a Discord server can manage it on the dashboard. You only see servers you can manage, and every change is written to the Audit log page with your name on it.

The CAD

In the CAD, what a person can do comes from the department they sign on as. Each department has its own permissions, set on the dashboard's Departments page. There are presets for police, fire and EMS, dispatch and DOT. Server admins are never limited. Setting up the CAD covers it step by step.

Who	What they can do by default
Server admin	Everything, including CAD settings, priorities and departments.
Dispatch	Create, assign, stack, merge and close any call. Send status checks, post the dispatch board, add premise notes, message every unit.
Unit	Go on duty, set their own status, work the call they are on, run traffic stops, request backup, message dispatch.
Civilian	Make characters, vehicles and firearms, and call 911 from the CAD (when the server turns civilians on).
