Sessions and start-ups
Start-up votes, a session panel that keeps itself up to date, and wording that sounds like your community.
Start a session
Open a vote with /ssu vote. Add a goal, like 8 votes, and the session starts by itself when the vote reaches it. To skip the vote, use /ssu start. When you are done, /ssu shutdown ends the session and runs :shutdown in-game.
Only people with the session role can start and end sessions. Set that role with /session role.
The live panel
/sessions posts one panel that updates itself: players in-game, the queue, staff in-game and the join code. Anyone can get the join code with /join, and /players lists who is in the server.
Make it yours
| Command | Who | What it does |
|---|---|---|
/session channel | Admins | Where session panels are posted. |
/session notify | Admins | The role pinged when a session goes live. |
/session text | Admins | Change the wording of any session message. |
/session title | Admins | Change the heading on an announcement. |
/session emoji | Admins | Change any emoji on the panel. |
/session banner | Admins | Set or clear a banner image on the panel. |
/session elements | Admins | Show or hide parts of the panel. |
/session alerts | Admins | Announce when the server fills up or empties out. |
/session reset | Admins | Put the wording back to the defaults. |
Tip
The dashboard's Wording and Branding pages do the same with a live preview, which is the easier way to reword a whole panel.
