Voice radio
Push-to-talk channels in the browser. One person talks at a time, like a real net.
Joining
Open Radio (5) and press Join the radio, or pick a channel. Your browser asks once for the microphone. A small radio panel stays in the bottom corner on every page while you are joined.
Talking
Hold V, or hold the big button, and talk. You hear a short tone when you have the channel. If someone else is talking you get a busy tone instead. Let go to stop. Your microphone is only used while you hold the key, and audio is passed live and never recorded.
Channels
Channels are grouped by department, each with its own frequency. Some can be listen only for you, depending on your roles. Admins rename, add and remove channels in Settings. To jump straight to a channel, type its name into CtrlK.
Tones
Dispatchers can send a tone to every CAD from the bell button in the header: Attention, Priority traffic, Officer needs help, Pursuit, Shots fired and All clear.
