Docs The CAD
Signing on
Verify your Roblox account once, pick your department, and go on duty with the callsign you wear in-game.
Verify your Roblox account
The first time you open the CAD it asks you to Verify with Roblox. It opens in a new tab and takes under a minute. Then press I have verified, continue. You only do this once, and it is how the CAD knows which player on the map is you.
Pick a department
You see every department you can sign on as. One click and you are in. The departments you cannot use are listed underneath with the reason, for example the role you are missing. Switch department any time from the sidebar.
Go on duty
While you are off duty, a bar across the top says so, with a Go on duty button. On servers with in-game duty rules:
- You must be in the game, on a team that fits your department: a police team for police and sheriff, fire or EMS for fire, DOT for DOT. Dispatch plays no team.
- Your unit number is the callsign you wear in-game. Change it in ER:LC and the CAD follows.
- Leave the team or the game, and you go off duty by yourself.
The sign-on screen shows a checklist of exactly what the CAD sees: Roblox verified, in game, on which team, and your callsign. If something is missing, it says what to do.
Going off duty
Open your unit chip in the top right and choose Go off duty, or find Go off duty in CtrlK. Your shift time counts towards your weekly hours.
